Heavy metals are used across a range of industrial processes. However, they are often present as contaminants in wastewater. As they can often be toxic in nature and are strictly controlled by discharge license limits, these metals need to be removed as part of an effluent treatment programme.

Metals that can be successfully treated using Precip products include Lead, Nickel, Copper, Mercury, Chromium, Cadmium, Selenium and Zinc.

The Precip range of products are designed using a range of chemistries to react with heavy metals in solution, and form insoluble precipitates. These can then be removed in solid form and disposed of safely.
