Introduction to Phosclear
| Phosphorus is found in many different processes and effluent streams, from Food to Pharmachem to Municipal sectors. Along with Nitrogen, it is grouped as a ‘nutrient’ which, when released into rivers and lakes, causes eutrophication or algal bloom. |
| By applying our Phosclear products however, Phosphorus can be precipitated from process and effluent streams, and converted into a more manageable form. Phosphorus removal requires knowledge of both the source of the problem and the science required to effectively treat it. Enva Water Treatment have that knowledge and can apply it through a combination of our unique tertiary Phosphorus removal systems and the use of Phosclear. |
| Phosclear products are supplied in different forms, based on both inorganic and organic components, depending on the nature of the industry. They are liquid precipitants and coagulants, which are designed to specifically target the Phosphate (PO4) ion and convert it into an insoluble form. |
