Introduction to Antibulk
| Antibulk is used to counteract the effects of sludge bulking in activated sludge plants. The most dramatic effects of sludge bulking are loss of settlement and consequential loss of biomass, which ultimately affect effluent biological treatment performance. Antibulk is a liquid blend containing Iron and trace elements, specifically formulated to reduce the level of filamentous bacteria in activated sludge systems, and hence to overcome sludge bulking problems. |
